We are happy to announce that Dr. Rodrigo Aguayo will take on the day-to-day leadership of Project MALES and the Texas Education Research Consortium. He will work closely with co-founders Dr. Victor Sáenz and Dr. Luis Ponjuán to provide guidance in advancing research and practice on collegiate men with our local, state, and national initiatives in mentoring, research, and statewide consortium.
Dr. Aguayo brings a unique expertise to Project MALES in both research and practice on collegiate men. Prior to this role, Dr. Aguayo served as the Program Manager for the Community and Belonging Initiatives in the College of Natural Sciences and as the Program Coordinator for the Project MALES Mentoring Program here at UT Austin. His research agenda explores men of color organizations and their servingness for collegiate men. We are excited to have Dr. Aguayo join the team!
