On October 1st, award-winning author, UT Austin professor, and public historian, Dr. Monica Muñoz-Martinez, joined us at our first plática of the semester! Dr. Muñoz-Martinez and our plática guests engaged in a conversation about the history of Mexican American schooling and what it means to be a UT Longhorn. We thank Dr. Muñoz-Martinez and guests for making the time join us and engage in a fruitful conversation that allowed us to reflect on our own knowledge about the history of schooling.
