Call for Workshop Proposals – deadline to apply is Sunday, April 6th at 11:59pm CT
The Texas Education Research Consortium brings together 300 students and professionals representing school districts, community colleges, and universities across the state to attend our Texas Student Leadership Summit. Our Summit proudly educates and engages students on various topics related to leadership, college and career readiness, identity, fellowship, and more. This year’s summit theme is Dreaming Higher: New Conversations, Connections, & Communities.
At this time, the Texas Education Research Consortium is happy to announce a call for workshop proposals for our upcoming Texas Student Leadership Summit. If you or a colleague would like to present, please see the information below:
Presentations will be categorized into one of three tracks:
- College Bound (Middle School and High School Students)
- College (Community College and University Students)
- Professionals
Each workshops will focus on developing one (or more) of the following areas:
- Fellowship
- Identity
- Leadership
- Health & Wellness
- College & Career Readiness
Additional information:
- In-person (no virtual presentation option)
- 50-minute duration
- Focus on one or more of our themes
- Targeted to one of our tracks
Presentation blocks are between 3:00 – 5:00 PM on August 7th or 10:00 AM – Noon on August 8th; subject to change.
Important Dates
Submission deadline: 11:59 PM (CT) on Sunday, April 6, 2025
Notification of acceptance: April 18, 2025
Sign Presenter Agreement Deadline: April 25, 2025
